Eh...cupcakes aren't really needed, tbh you're the first I've heard of wasting cupcakes on this run. The cupcake price hasn't changed at all, no joke.

I've heard of some people using cupcakes (and other consumables) instead of running skills to free up a slot for something else. I really haven't seen any need to do this but to each his/her own.

Indeed, no cupcakes needed here either. I don't need [Flame Djinns Haste] (I use [dash]), as 25-30 min runs are fast enough for me (first 2 groups of dryders included)

Hi there,
Some ppl doesn't seem to understand (still) how to get to Chaos, well I've made (again) a video, and shows also how to farm, where and what.
~NOTE: I do NOT take credit for the build, however I do take credit for the Video
GL, for every 1 that needs it, for this farm run....

I just had that happen 4 times in a row, suffice to say i had to quit gw and go do something else i was a tad pissed off.

First of all, good video. It definately shows to anyone the basics of the run. I have some point which could've been better. These are not meant to negatively criticize you, but as general info for everyone.
I prefer to use dash for the following reason. With dash you can easily and without much risk of body blocks, take on the whole chamber with 3 groups of squids. You can afterwards trap them against a wall (I usually don't because it barely matters in time spent). It's probably always a bad idea to kill the Aaxte, because you'd be better of using that time doing more runs and killing more Mindblades.
Also, it's not even useful to kill any squids after you've finished the quest. Just ignore them and run past the Behemoths when the Blacknessess have passed.
Your run was excellent. You timed it just right, and it's a great help for anyone who doesn't know how to do the run.
What you didn't do tough, was keep your health under 100, which is quite crucial. It speeds the run up quite a lot. You can efficiently get your health at less than 100 by making sure you recast Shadow Form in the run just after you walked up the last steep part, to the road where the Blacknessess pass if you're too slow. Then you can run to the Planes, wait for 3 seconds and reapply Shadow Form after is has ended. Then, aggro.
The Banished Dream Riders can be divided into roughly 3 groups. There's the first group you see when you enter, which consists of 4 Dream Riders. It's best to try and kill them and their spawns together. Sometimes it's possible to pull those 4 Dream Riders together, but it usually isnt.
The second group is at the altar thingy. It consists of 3 Dream Riders, with some extra additional spawns. You can always pull these 3 together. Be sure to use a longbow for pulling.
The thirth group is close to the Terrorwebs. There are just 2 Dream Rides. It's easiest to kill the Terrorwebs together with the last spawns.
I hope this info is helpful to anyone trying to speed up their runs.

I did a run back along where I compared 2 techniques for killing mindblades:
1) Normal MoR + Lava Font, keep spamming Lava Font until all the enemies die.
2) MoR + Lava font until your foes are at low HP (usually 2 casts) then keep MoR on them and sword them to death (Fiery sword).
I got 2 to 3 times more drops (including cash) when I killed them slower (1 at a time). It took bloody ages but then again since I have gotten 1-2 ectos a run for my past 4 runs it might be worth it :S.

is it deathly paradox ---> gliph--->Shadow Farm
or gliph--->deathly paradox--->Shadow form?
b/c im not too sure and died because of charged blacknesses right by chaos plains
also wat weps do you guys use because i keep on runing out of energy with totem axe and filame artifact giving me 49 energy

Since I'm currently unable to access gw: Are the Mindblades susceptible to poison, bleeding, disease?

I think that order doesn't matter. You are dying because of the Shock skill which ignores SF
And I have Totem Axe and Droknars Fire Focus (20/20)

If you want another dmg skill you can use Flame Dijinns haste, it serves both purposes. I prefer dash though after trying both, not using cupcakes will save you some cash as well. I use them every great once and a while if I manage to get snagged on the traps and dont feel like starting over.

It doesn't matter which order, you can cast both at the same time since one is a stance. Just make sure to cast them as soon as it recharges. The charged blaknesses as the door mean you went too slow and you need to make your trip up the mountains faster. SHock is also a skill so it goes through SF.

None of these work because mindblades are not fleshy.

Awesome build and awesome guide.
I have done 5 runs so far and got 15 ecto, I guess my luck isnt as good as others.
Has anyone done this on HM? I tried it, but the mindblades scatter and then only 3 will attack you at a time. Anyone know why that is? I was also at 50 HP when fighting them.

I don't find doing it in Hard Mode worth the trouble. If I want cash or rares, I have plenty of places to farm for those. I do UW solely for ecto. Kills will take longer in HM, and Hard Mode does not increase your chance of getting ecto.
@ Leprechaun: yeah, killing slower does net better drops of non-ecto stuff, but that's not what 'm down there for. Sometimes I muck around and use Conjure Flame + MoR and wandspike, just for the sake of doing it. Yes, I get more stuff, but not sure if it's worth it.
So... for max ectos for time spent: Normal Mode, fast kills (aoe)
for max drops with time not a factor: Hard Mode, don't kill too many enemies at once

First 10 runs i tried, totaly blocked by the behemoths. Was really really pissed and gave up on it for a while.
came back to it and finally got a clear route. a 6 ecto run and a q9 storm bow too, was a very nice welcome to the chaos planes.

How fast are runs with an Assassin? I do this as E/A, and my runs are generally 30-35 mins long, with Golden Eggs and sometimes Essences. I made a Sin today since Essences were costly with five failed runs in a row (Behemoths blocked the path), and I'm wondering if its worth to keep working on the Assassin.

I think making an assasin is worth it. For my ele when I did it I did it around 45 min not using essences and eggs. Now with my assasin I can do it in 24 min. So doing it in half the time is worth it in my opinion.
